Welcome to my blog:

Al MortonMainly a collection of ramblings and semi-satirical comments from a guitar owner with too much to say about everything.

Lately, I have been worrying about the celebrations for H.M. Diamond Jubilee. More on that here …

There are also top investment tips for bankers with huge bonuses as well 7 things you can do to try and recover a lost knighthood.  I am also busy adding a Vindictive Wives section after reading about the panic on the streets of London following the shock resignation of Chris Huhne.

There are a collection of images as well as tips on guitar playing.  I also have few ideas to help world leaders not screw up so much.  What were they all doing at Davos anyway?  That’s right, skiing!!!

If you are a complete nube to WordPress, you will find the recent posts section on the right links to the latest articles.  I have tried to make it as easy as I can, but you are still going to have to find your own walking sticks!

Guitarists, take a look at this! My top 20 all time greatest guitarists.  Check it out here and see how John Pizzarelli ranks on the list:

There is now a philosophy category probably no longer needed since Tony Blair published his memoirs.  Don’t worry, it is an easy read and there are lots of pictures. Thanks to Cherie Booth (real name withheld due to pending legal action) for the help with my soon to be published  ‘insiders guide to property investment in Bristol‘.

The top menu also has a link to the humour section (the kind of stuff that gets edited out of Viz magazine) .  You can also check out the Facebook page and follow me on Twitter.

Yes, talk is cheap on Twitter, but please, please  follow me, @almorton2 as I am desperate to make new friends, having already alienated my old friends.

For the music related articles, click on the  Guitar Notes tab above and then select an article.   You can also hear me play a little via the  Recordings tab above, or view extracts from my latest Youtube offerings (Al Morton unplugged and unhinged).

If guitar isn’t your thing, you may still find something of interest either in the Living in Spain section or my web services site www.sortedspain.com.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Al Morton
